About the only female I know is involved in a startup that became big is Catherina Fake of Flickr, and incidentally she’s part-Filipina.

In the article, Chris Shipley lists a few including Gina Bianchini of Ning. Then there’s Leah Culver of Pownce and Aruni Gunasegaram of BabbleSoft… and Myla Villanueva too of Novare Tech, though they’re into mobile apps. And from the young ones, me and Kim Ting (Global Trade Phils)! Yay!
There are girls… just maybe not usually founders. Check out DigATechGirl.

There’s also Anne Wojcicki (sp?) who founded http://www.23andme.com…a really interesting service, in my opinion. Google has invested serious money into her project. She’s Sergie Brin’s wife, of course, so that raises some speculations.
