		<description>Well there&#039;s a DEMO to be held in China September this year. That could be less travel cost  -- although accommodations in the US would be easier with all the available Filipino housing :D
I guess that would only be beneficial if you want to target the strong China market rather than a global or Western audience, right?</description>

		<description>I think DEMO is for a VC-backed/well-funded startup company...  I&#039;m not too sure if that&#039;s an option for those who are just bootstrapping.

There&#039;s a lot of available medium to gain exposure... IMHO.</description>

		<description>IMO, if you can afford the $18.5k, DEMO is a very good exposure. But I&#039;m sure 90% (I made that up) of web startups will not spend that much. They&#039;d rather spend it on marketing and hosting fees. ;)</description>
