Comment Policy

Keeping in line with our objective, we encourage praises as well as constructive criticism for the web technologies from the Philippines and Asia that we highlight.

We don’t censor comments based on technical, commercial, or ideological points of view. However we reject comments that are abusive, irrelevant, unfounded attacks on persons/startups, and with foul language.

Yay! I made a comment! Hey, where is it?

We manually approve your first comment. We’re pretty liberal with readers who comment regularly, given they comply with the requirements mentioned before.
Tip: Tick the box to subscribe to comments to receive updates on the conversation.

Why am I blocked from commenting on Pinoy Web Startup?

You either:
a) made a comment that’s abusive, irrelevant, unfounded attacks on persons/startups, and with foul language;
b) you share your computer with someone who did (a) before. Go pour beer over his head.

Can I put links in my comments?

You can already give your website URL along with your name and email address.
You may suggest links — only if they will contribute to the discussion. If you include a URL in you comment, it will be converted to a link.
